Just got out of a meeting with a Surety Bond company and I was grabbing glances at a unique watch across the table the whole time. At the end as we were shaking hands, I asked Brook about it and he said he didn't know much about it. Had bought it at a charity auction because he liked it and liked the charity!

I looked it up right after the meeting and found out it was a men's black dialed two-tone Zenith Defy Classic http://www.ashford.com/ashford/brows...48&categoryId= (Model 86-0516-4021-21-C648) on a rubber strap.

OK
I did it again.
I SWORE I was only selling things, no trades and no purchases till the honeymoon in Switzerland
Well that didn't work, someone contacted me with a trade option on my Bell & Ross BR03 Phantom that involved one of the few watches that could sway me...

So it will be here Wednesday sometime.

I shipped off the B&R and did a small $ transfer today and they are shipping tomorrow morning.

So I guess you all will just have to wait till Thur to see what I got and no its not an AP :(

Heck, I think I have only seen one or two of them ever even here on TKF!!!

I SOOOO wish it would be here tomorrow but by the time I got things done on my end and with his job it was too late for him to ship today but Im not worried he has great refs on multiple boards.

OK
My AD was kind enough to go out of his way and set up a tour with
the Richemont group for my fiancee and I during our honeymoon in Switzerland.
We have been VERY excited about this.

Today my AD contacts me, "Ummm I am really sorry but they called today and
decided they no longer can do the date you reserved. They are just starting back to work that week and dont like to have anything else going on to distract the employees just returning and to ensure everything is tip top, perhaps your clients would like to come the following week"

No, I do not nor can I go the following week, we will be at the other end of the country....

This is a BIG let down.

I know I sound like a spoiled little brat but I am almost upset enough where I no longer want to own anything by them and its a shame as there were 6 watches I planned to own from them in the next year or so....

They should have thought about their schedule before they said OK

Dont be surprised if you see a couple Richemont pieces for sale from me soon.
I hope my fiancee did not get me an IWC as I know she was talking about it, if so
I am going to get her to return it so we can get something else.

This just added onto my issues with them that started when they had my Panerai 233 for MONTHS for a simple repair and could not even keep me informed as to what was happening.

I think I may have to go after the ROO Diver sooner than I had expected now.

I need to be buying watches like I need another whole in the head.
My fiancees watch will be here this weekend (Rolex pink flower dial (thats what she wanted!) 36 mm DJ with the Oyster bracelet and diamond bezel.)
I bought the Marathon MSAR the other day (love Marathon watches!)
I am getting married Sept 5th and going on my honeymoon Sept 7th (12 days in Switzerland)

BUT

I have always liked the looks of this watch...
Don't know a ton about it (anyone who can shed more light on the quality etc please let me know). I know this is an almost exact replica of their old watch and I know they are part of the Swatch group now.

So here it is....
My new baby.
I will be picking it up in person tomorrow. I did not steal the watch but it was a good deal and the guy is 10 minutes away from me so I could not beat it.
