    Hello All,

What are the real differences between these two movements (3186 GMTIIc)/(New ExplII 3187)? Are they pretty much the same mechanically, is one better than the other??

Well, the Cal. 3187 has inhouse shock protection system aka "Paraflex" which is supposed to be "better" than the outsourced KIF shock system used in Cal. 3186... I guess time will tell.

Apart from that, the main plate of the Cal. 3187 is slightly bigger than on the Cal. 3186... I will write more about this in my review of the new Explorer II 216570 when I get the time to write it.
