Finally beautiful weather, so my dad and I decided to have a walk. I'm back home after weeks of business traveling and it feels good to enjoy a walk in the woods:

I love the next photo. Here is a picture of my top-favorite flashlight -- a Muyshondt Nautilus:

Nice looking watch and knife. Glad to see that after you said:

Finally beautiful weather, so my dad and I decided to have a walk.

The knife is not dripping in red. You and your father must get along very well.

B&R watches are occasionally not my cuppa, but I am quite fond of some of their line. However, I haven't seen that one before, and WOW its super cool!!! I love those sword hands, bezel and digital displays! Innovative, classic and very good looking, all rolled into one timepiece.

Sweet B&R...I love the brand. Use to have the BR01-94...loved it. I always thought if I was going to get a digital/analog watch it would be a Breitling, but this new B&R might just win now.

Really cool that you can operate all the functions through the crown...how do you like it? I figured pushers would probably be easier, yet the all-in-one idea of the crown seems to keep the watch looking pretty sleek. But, wondering if you find it a little more cumbersome to use.

Also, are the hands skeleton? I love skeleton hands, but can't tell with 100% certainty if this one has them (I've never seen one in the flesh). Again, great watch...thanks for sharing.

Same ETA enginge as in the Breitlings (Emergency Once, Navitimer, etc.):

    [IMG][IMG]

The crown is easy to operate with the slow and quick movement, though one has to get used to it. I really use it a lot as I switch between T2 (second time-zone), the "pasta-cooking" timer, and chronograph for running. Acutally it is not cumbersome, but even cool that the watch doesn't have any more buttons. I had a 5.11 & G-Shock watches before and none of those was so easy to use as this one. Honestly, if you want a perfect timing instrument a digital quartz isn't a bad choice! I spent approx. USD 2.500 (EUR 1.900) for this B&R "quartz watch" but never thought about paying to much for this one.

The hands are skeleton hands and very nice as they have the same shape as on my other B&R. I'll try to make a better photo later this week.

All in all, it is my favorite EDC watch right now. I've also have a nice 3rd-party leather strap incoming and really look forward to use that one.

P.S.: I've posted before that I was not sure about my decision to buy a second B&R after some issues with the BR03-88 in the beginning. I also questioned paying so much for an ETA watch. A few weeks later (reading some good answers and a lot about ETA) I have to say that I'm back in love -- ALSO because of my fantastic ADs in Portugal and Vienna, and the good customer service from B&R.

That's good to know. Funny, but I've never noticed the lack of pushers on the Breitlings...it wasn't until I saw this B&R that it caught my eye.:banghead: Thanks for the info.
