Great watch - the TT GMTIIc is one of the few TT watches I really like. Usually, I'm a fan of the SS only but there's something about the TT IIc that makes me ... :drooling:

    Dear all,
Thanks alot for your nice comments really to buy this watch is worth cause it gives me happiness when it s on my wrist, but I never wear it while going to work and I dont like it to be scratched or noticed ( maybe Im too young for TT gold 26 y.o...) I wear it 3-4 days a week probably weekends and nights and always keep inside of my coat while wearing and keep in green pouch while leaving at home still nearly no scratch except a very small one.By the way I'm
so happy to meet you all including old friends from a perivous Rolex group.

    2 Questions:
-Is it bad for the movement to wear 3-4 days a week and not 24/7 ?
-My manual is French and I couldnt understand.. After taking my GMT left in box few days in pouche I should hold the crown till end (where hour and minute hand move together and turn the in clockwise direction 40-45 times to charge the watch's movement as I understand it's not logical but is it right info or what?

:D I am so glad to hear or know that :)

Your watch does not have to be worn 24/7, a few days a week is fine indeed. Being it is new and all you worry more about scratches but with time after the first few you sort of get over it and enjoy the watch more. We need to take great care of our watches indeed but at the same time life is short and we need to enjoy it. Watches bring me that same happiness as well :)

To wind the watch all you do is un screw the crown, as soon as it pops out, that position is where you can turn and wind it. Will only go in that direction and if turned the other way you will hear a failt clicking sound (nothijng bad).

Any other info you can easily get from other members here :D

    :)

That would be position 1 when no hands turn and the seconds still sweep. If the crown (3 o clock) position is facing you, it is turned clockwise, you will hear it making a very smooth rubbing sound as it winds. The other direction does the clicking I spoke of before.

Being a new watch it is good to wear it as much as possible for the first few weeks to get any oils that pooled to certain areas while sitting in the dealer or warehouse circulated. Nothing wrong with what your doing now though :D

other direction makes click click and clockwise direction makes more strong click click sound at 1.st position I nearly wound few times.

Yep, just as you would right after setting the time before you screw the crown back in. You feel the tension as it winds compared to if you go the other way it moves freely with the clicking as stated above. The days you do not wear it you can do so to keep the movement going
