Fantastic watch. Welcome to TKF!!
What a beauty!!
Yes yes.... it is not as "common" as 16750... hee hee... sorry 16750 owners...
A great watch. My Father-in-law had one just like it. He always promised it to me, but somewhere East of Honolulu it fell off his wrist out the car window. Heavy traffic, so he never knew exactly where it fell.
Hey, this could be my watch if you found it on H-1.:rofl:
BTW, mine is an A serial... enjoy!
Quite a horror story there, Dan!
Did insurance cover the loss of the watch? How could the watch fall off his wrist in the first place?
Was the serial number reported to nearest RSC? In case someone finds / found the watch, it could turn up again to the original owner (your f-i-l) if the watch is turned in for service.
Splendid macro! :worship:
Oh, btw.: Your GMT dial says "SWISS" which - together with the watch being an A-series Rolex (1998, Nov. and onwards) - would make it one of the first dials with Luminova instead of Tritium which was (widely) banned in that year 1998.
Have a look at this article.
fell off his wrist out the car window? could have ran over by a car....:dummy:
I took that picture with my Canon G9... its a nice camera but I sold it and bought a smaller camera recently... what have I done!!!!
