My Jeep finally got some much needed TLC. The FL sun isn't very forgiving on car paint. Picked up some rust restorer, sandpaper, and spray paint. It's amazing what can be done in a couple of hours!

First, popped off the cowling between the hood and windshield. As you can see, the clearcoat has been eaten away, as well as some of the paint and rust is setting in.

Here it is after painting and reinstall. What a difference!

Also, the fender flares were in desperate need of paint. It's been several years since I painted them. Here they're taped off and have already received a couple of coats. They were faded to a very light gray - sorry, no before pics.

Really pleased with how they turned out.

And the final results after painting the cowling and the fender flares. Now it's time to pop off the side mirrors to sand and paint. I'll post photos of that once I'm done. Hopefully next weekend.
