I broke down and bought a new OEM deployant for my PAM 111. :rocker: I really liked the deployant on my PAM 164. I do like the OEM buckle, but the deployant is sooooo nice that I had to get one! The deployant won't fit my OEM leather strap, but it will fit the rubber strap, which is the one I wear on a daily basis. I should be getting it in the mail on Tuesday. I'll post pics after it arrives!

I tried on the Deployant buckle and rubber strap once with a model 24, and agree it is very comfortable! And I actually like the OEM Leather strap that comes with the 111. The OEM strap that comes with the 233 is also very nice!

The best value for the money though are Hirsch Straps!

Look forward to your photos and glad you are enjoying the simplicity and ruggedness of the 111. !!!!!!!!!!

I think it'll be nice having the buckle on the leather strap and the deployant on the rubber strap. The best of both worlds IMHO!

It's being shipped USPS Priority tomorrow... I think that's overnight shipping? It's being delivered to the house, so it might not be until Wednesday before I can pick it up since I'll miss the delivery on Tuesday. :banghead:

How much was the asking price of the deployant clasp, Jeff?

Offtopic: Tony, I noted you've changed your ava to a 5146 in WG. Have you bought one of those, too, to compliment the YG one you have??

Sorry, Bo, I just noticed your post. :dummy: I got it for $285 shipped. It's BNIB w/ the plastic still attached. I really don't know if that was a great deal or not... there weren't any others for sale to compare it to.

I would say it's a fair price.. OEM PAM parts just don't come cheap.

Good news! The tracking delivery date is tomorrow, however it's here a day early and out for delivery! I'm hoping they'll leave it on my doorstep, or I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow. Stay tuned!
