Modern dial turning purple

    This is the 1st modern sub I have seen where the dial is turning Purple--I've have had quite a few do that from the 80's and 90's but not a newer one.

    It's not the dial that's turning purple... it's the reflection from your purple jacket! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

    That's amazing! Never heard of the dials turning purple on the recent TT Blue Subs. Still, it does look better than the new blue dial on the YG and WG with ceramic bezel insert. :butt:

    I, too, would like to know what series it is.

    Will you be claiming this as a QC issue at your AD/RSC? I for my part think I would leave the dial be as it is.

    Modern dial turning purple is a "Y" series with holes

    The puuuurple sub is a Y serial with case holes-- :beardjump:

    From what I understand, there were "factory freak" dials with a purple tint on the TT subs with Y serials...I have one too. Personally, I love the look. Some have argued that they are collector's items.
