BTW., it's been measured and is 18.15MM thick, versus 17.75MM on the 233 and 16.75MM on the 176, 112, 005.

To compare, the Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller is 17.68MM thick.

Still not sure whether to go for the PAM 312 or PAM 233...

I was promised to get the FIRST PAM 312 that hits the Danish AD's, though. Somehow I think I'd still miss the superdomed crystal on it despite its disadvantages (i.e.: blurring of view from the side; high replacement cost).

But 312 have more thick case than 233, Bo.
    I like thick case.

Yes, but with a Panerai I somehow prefer:

    1) 1950 case (yes, the PAM 312 has it, but is hasn't got:)

    2) manually wound movt.

    3) superdomed crystal.

I'm so agree with your manual movement.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
The only 312 I don't really like is the automatic movement.
