    Oh my!
It is still going! From the look of thing
I would suspect it will stop sometime later
this evening. If it makes it till 23:37 that will
be 9 full days and it looks like it could do it!

I have been using timeanddate.com to track
and it seems it's about 1 minute and 18 seconds
fast since 8 1/2 days ago. After its endurance test
I am going to try testing its accuracy again....
IF it keeps running this fast I will have to send it in
and get it in as the warranty ends soon.

I hope it dies soon as I haven't been wearing it since daylight
savings as I wanna be accurate with the endurance test. haha

Seems you got a real winner with this one!

I'm glad that I was right about the potential 9+ days power reserve. Must admit that the 9+ seconds/day accuracy would bug me, too. Let's hope it improves, otherwise I hope you can have it regulated quickly.

I know the warranty expires pretty soon so I have to check
that date and then look into how to get it into Panerai.

Id rather send it myself instead of having a dealer do it.

It BITES as I will be without my Panerai, my Sub ND will be goig off with (SD will be gone in a day or two) my GMT as it is having one more thing addressed. I would wear my DJ but at the moment its bandless (long story) so I will have to wear my Ball NT and Breitling for a while :(

I am going to be listing my ULN as well as a Tudor and a few bands for a trade soon so I wont be wearing that either...

Great update, can't wait to hear how long it went. I timed my 111 when it arrived and I almost got to 60 hours 30 minutes so I was pleased as it's only advertised to have 56 hours.

Well. 00:32 3-11-09 and it is still going!!!! This is 9 + days!!!
If I get 10 out of this that would be a riot BUT with the looks of
the gauge it will stop sometime this evening while I am asleep.

All I know is WOW I am impressed!

I am a bit upset its running so fast but once it dies I am going to
set it and monitor it daily for a week to see how much it gains per day.

Seems there are some issues with the 5513 and that deal may not happen
so the SD may go back up for trade for a Panerai or vintage Rolex.

    OK
I am PISSED (in a good way though)

When I woke up this morning I said SURELY the Panerai
will have stopped and be in need of a winding this am
well joke is on me.... 9:15 (well 8:15 as I didnt adjust for
DST due to this trial) and the blasted bugger is STILL RUNNING!

WILL YOU PLEASE JUST DIE!!! I want to wear you already!!!

My warranty expires 5/29 so I need to see how accurate you are
as I fear you will be going back to the factory for some repairs :(

Hmm.... at this point, you might want to have the watch checked for authenticity. Seems like there's a Lithium battery in it!  :justkidding: :justkidding:

Why can't you wear it? It's not an automatic... you can test the power reserve while wearing the watch!

Why wear a watch thats wrong when I have a beautiful 1675 GMT, a Rolex SD, DJ, Breitling or Ball to wear...

Don't get me wrong I miss the 233 BIG TIME but not enough to wear the wrong time when I will surely be wearing it again tomorrow.... Just came home for lunch in hopes it would be dead BUT its still going (I really don't see where he coulda hid a battery in there HAHA)

    "OK
Full wind and dead on at 23:37 pm 3-1-09

I will let you know when she dies."

WTF 3-12-09 AND it is still going!!!
I never set it for DST so its an hour off.

But its still going at (according to the watch thats an hour off)
3-12 8:30............ We are going on 11.5 days!!!!!

It seems to have gained exactly 2 minutes over those 11.5 days though :(
Poor me will have to send it off for service as the warrant ends next mth.

Its on the last hash mark of the PR so its just gotta die soon BUT
Did they screw up and put a wind up 270 movement in here???
    hahahaha

Anyway I am jumping in the shower and I REALLY hope it dies while I am in
there so I can wear it today! If not I have one more day to wear the GMT as
shes shipping out tomorrow with my 5513 as it gets here today for sure now
(WOW customs is a pain! Last time I do anything out of the country!)

I can't believe it hasn't died yet. I guess that's good news! I hate to hear that the watch is gaining so much, though. It'll definitely need to be regulated. :banghead:

Oh man, still going that is insane. Either way hope you can get it sent in and have it returned back asap. On the bright side you have some other stunning watches that can help the time seem to go by faster.

WTF just die, please please stop already!!!

To make matters worse I am soooo close to pulling
the trigger on a PAM 98 it isn't funny!!

I just need to quickly move a couple things first.

This is absurd, there must be a battery hidden somewhere in here!!!
