This time, it's the OEM "Trieste" Panerai strap... :beardjump: :beardjump:

It's the third last on the pic that my AD sent to my email..

Unfortunately, it's not in stock at Panerai at the moment, so lead time will be approx. 3 weeks... :crying: :banghead:

Do you think it will look good on the PAM 312?

I'll post more pics when the strap arrives.

It's an all synthetic strap, Pete... I guess it's some kind of rubber.

Looks nice Bo but what about size? Seems 115/75 may be too small as I know your wrists are similar to mine,

You are right about that, Saif, but unfortunately this specific strap comes in the standard length only. :banghead:

It's still long enough for my wrist to have the strap end JUST pass the permanent keeper...I will remove the second keeper.

Bo, do you know if Ted Su straps will cause a reaction on your wrist? Like the hornback series?

Good question, Saif! Not sure how the TS straps are treated, but if they're created with Chrome, I'm bond to react allergically to them.

For the time being, I have the TS kevlar dive strap on my 312. This strap is all synthetic, so that I won't get any rash from wearing it.. it's actually turned out to be my favourite strap of them all! I intend to get another one soon, with white stitching to better match the dial (or maybe one with yellow stitching... not sure about it yet).

I think it will look perfect Bo, looking forward to seeing some close up and wrist shots.

Ive thought about getting a Trieste strap for my GO Chronograph, but when I made some enquiries I found that they are over £400, so wont be going there any time soon.

Whoa, that's a crazy price for that strap, Dave! :yikes:

The Trieste strap from Panerai is Euro 150 (££135 or $220).

I just got an email from Wempe in Hamburg, Germany, telling me that they've received the Trieste strap from Panerai...

The AD informed me that the strap has what LOOKS like leather on the back side, but he was told by Panerai that it is in fact NOT leather but a rubber composite material..

Also, this specific strap comes with the deployant buckle only, so it has a larger cut-out, but will still fit the OEM buckle that I have...He told me that I can wear it for a while to see if I react allergically to it or not. If I like the strap, I can send it back, and he will then have Panerai make an identical strap for me; just for the standard buckle!
