    I think so, too!

Believe me, I have looked at that watch a lot of times in the PAM catalogue that I have right here on my desk. Actually, I was put on the list for a PAM 233 at my AD. The sales' assistant told me "why not?" and that I was not forced to buy it but that I could have a closer look at it once it turns up.

The PAM 213 that I tried on recently was not my cuppa, but I think I will like the more minimalistic design of the 233. Let's see if the watch smiles back at me.

    Thanks, Dave!

As for the PAM 233, the AD could not tell me when it arrives. Should I buy it, I won't buy a Rolex DD, though, since buying it would set me too much back with my savings for the DD.

Cool, I do not normally like these watches but do appreciate their quality, packaging and design etc.

Also, Dave that is a fantastic site to look around at watches :D

Sounds like fun, Robb! I need to get up to Atlanta again with the family for a few nights. We all love it there!

Yes, the 233 is an incredible watch.

I may be forced to sell mine in the near future though to financial contraints. Keep me in mind if you are looking for a 233, I may be able to give you a pretty good deal on mine. Cheers.

Sad to see your 233 go, Chad! I would have thought it was the last one you'd part with. But if selling it would solve some problems, it's a good decision to part with it. After all, "it's just a watch".

I completly agree with Bo. If this is needed to make things better no worries. Most important you have your health, faith in god and family. You can always get another watch after to replace the one you had to sell.

Will do Chad. Actually I wasnt looking for the 233, I just happened to go in the store and it was sitting there.

If I were to buy a Pam today.... It would definately be your 221

Well, buy the 233 and I will throw in the 221 at half price.

    :justkidding:

Yeah, I think the 221 with the Bracelet would compliment your DSSD better. Fit you better, as a little heavier and beefier the 221 is.

The 221 is nice, too! But it hasn't got that stunning superdomed crystal. :banghead:

Also, personally I prefer a matte finished crown protector.

The bracelet, however, is a league of its own! :worship:

The WR to 300 metres is an advantage, too, but the 100 metre WR of the PAM233 is sufficient to me.

Then there's the HUGE price difference... Still, I'd go for the PAM233 due to its lacking cyclops (never were a fan of it), superdomed crystal and above all its in-house mvt.

I thought the crown protector on the 221 was a matte finish?????

Yeah, must be matte then.

It just looks quite shiny on the Panerai site (click on the middle of the 3 pics in both the "Details" and "Views" sections. However, it is a PAM220. Can't seem to find the PAM221 on the Panerai site anymore?

YAH! those are TOTALLY awesome. The current price is pretty hard to swallow though.

Also, 240 winds to wind it to the full 8-days was a bit of a turnoff. :(
