I'm on a roll finding some of the PAM pictures on the Internet and can't help but not share them. Here is another beauty...

Here the PAM 328 laying on top of a PAM 312:

I just LOVE the PAM 312 / 328!

I could hit myself for passing on the PAM 312 despite being first on the list for it!

Maybe I should order one again... I think I would then order the PAM 328 and an extra croc plus rubber strap for it. It's cheaper than ordering the bracelet for it later on.

I think you should order one again. I like the simple look and think it would be a great addition to your collection. Of course, any PAM would be a great addition to any collection.

    Maybe I should...

Only thing that bugs me a bit are the reports of bad Panerai service that Jeremy has posted... sort of puts me off a bit..

Or perhaps staying away from their inhouse movements. I've been thinking about a Pam for a little while but just haven't committed to one.

Since my post in the forums about the issue with my 233 and Panerai US service (don't know anything about service out of the US) I have gotten several Emails from people who have serious complaints about the service situation with Panerai.... I am staying away from their in house from now on... Just too new and you are hostage to their service as they do not let anyone else have parts.
I will not say I am sour on Panerai though! There are 3 which I really crave! (all ETA based though)

Also I HATE the new bracelet.... The old style just looked VERY unique

My AD is still not allowed to touch the PAM's with in-house movts., but maybe I will get one later when the watchmakers are trained in servicing those movts. so that I can just pop by and have any issues solved right there...

I tried on both a while ago at a Panerai exhibition at my AD...

Here is the PAM00328 (= "PAM00312" on the new steel bracelet) on my wrist:

Maybe you're right but that bracelet is super comfy and looks very good on the watch imho so as stated I would probably opt for the 328 and get the straps for it later... won't be anytime soon though since I need the funds and can't seem to shift my Omega Speedy. :banghead:

I thought the service was related to only the US. However, after reading a bit more, I see the concern around the lack of service on the movement at the moment.
