    OK
As many of you know I got a 233, it was a trade and
it was running fast so I sent it in expecting them to just
fix that and suggest a total overhaul at my expense as the
    warranty ends this month.

I was a little worried when I had not heard from them yet
as I sent the watch about 2 weeks ago. I asked them to
call,Email or fax me. Today in the mail I got a letter from them

First page says the suggest a complete service (oh oh I see the $ signs!!)
Next page more detail dial "spotted/stained debris)
    OH OH MORE $$$

    WAIT!!
At the bottom of the page in all caps

ALSO NOTE: THIS REPAIR WILL BE DONE AT NO CHARGE. THIS IS ONLY FOR YOUR REVIEW.

    WOW!!
I just thought they would calibrate the time and then suggest I purchase an overhaul, I didn't even see any debris on the face

Big thumbs up for Piaget Service!!!!! (Panerai handles their service through the Piaget center in TX now)

Now THAT is what I like to hear! Glag to see a company doing as they should for valued customers! Very glad to hear all they are doing for you :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: No better way to keep a customer buying your brand and i'm sure this positive experience will have a lot to do with some of your future watches. Again, this is fantastic and something that is not very common these days it seems

    hahaha EXACTLY

Rolex would never replace a dial that a customer didn't complain about and even if it was under warranty theyd try to find someway to pin it on the customer.

Also a complete overhaul??? Under warranty or not I would not expect that for free.

I really think they stepped up to the plate with this one.

    I have a 090 incoming which I decided I do not want....
I am considering many trade options but I am REALLY looking to trade up into
a Panerai chrono of one sort or anything (flyback of 1950 chronos)
and its funny as I have NO use for a Chrono and always preach I will
never buy one etc etc.... I MAY have to eat my own words but not sure yet.

Had the same experience at the Panerai Service Center, operated by the Pendulum, in Bangkok. Quick turn around, great service, no charge, and a good job!

Wow, you had me there for a minute before I finished reading your post!

AWESOME service! That's comforting to know IF I'll get a Panerai eventually.

Remember those mandatory after service pics when you get it back, please.

You should consider the PAM00275 (Chrono Monopulsante GMT). I tried on that watch recently. AWESOME watch! :worship:

I think it will be harder for you now, Bo. After hearing that it would make anyone lean towards their brand more. I personally have never truly loved the watches for my taste but if a chance ever came up for one that gave me that loving feeling it would be bought in a heart beat! Good to see some companies charging this much for luxury items still go the extra mile.

    Uggg
Bo you had to say that!
    I like the 275
The 317 REALLY sings to me
    BUT
    I have sworn I wouldn't bother with a Chrono as I have
    no use for one....
In order to snag the 275 Id have to move out of my 233
and that just doesn't even interest me at this time.
I really dont see myself selling the 233 for years.
