I just got home from watching Skyfall. Tons of Omega wrist shots! :eek:mega: It's an incredible movie... I highly recommend seeing it in a theater - IMAX if you can! :rocker:

I've just seen it too and I really had the rash for an Omega! What a great Bond film!

Change of plans. Ditched the cozy couch and went to the theatre.
They have a line for the IMAX showing at 11:20! Crazy.

Nice :rocker: If Laurie weren't on Percocet and hooked up to an ice machine all day, we'd be in the theater this weekend too. Might have to wait for the DVD on this one. :banghead:

Give her our best. She'll be happy to know that she trumps Bond!

Will do guys. She's starting to reduce the dosage of Percocet, so I'm talking that as a good sign.

I really enjoyed it, and my wife did too, although she thought the middle dragged a bit before picking back up.

If you're a Bond fan I think you will like this one! Many classic references to the past while still managing to stay modern and fresh...I think the critics got it right this time.

My thoughts are with you and Laurie! Hope she is all better soon.

Saw Skyfall on Thursday evening, courtesy of Omega Boutique at the Hotel Vancouver. They even had a large, new, black Jaquar parked in the middle of the lobby just outside the Boutique entrance. Cocktail reception at the Boutique, then over to the theatre for 7 pm.

As Chip says, it was a long one. Apart from a couple of times it dragged a bit, it was over 2 hours of solid entertainment. While I would never judge an actor's capabilities from their role in a James Bond movie, I think that the cast was perfect.

I was very pleased to see my currently favourite Omega model (after the Speedy, of course) well displayed with many wrist shots:

I was happily surprised at how good this movie was. It is, by far, the best of the Bond movies. I thought the writing was tight and the story well paced. I didn't think it dragged anywhere.

Maybe I can get my wife to go to this one. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it.

    Thanks Jeff.

He's sporting THE Aston Martin. The DB5 with machine guns and ejector seats. M drives around in a XJR.

Of course I can't say it here....But I loved the surprises at the end.....I was the staunchest supporter of
Connery as the best Bond...But I now change that and I think it is the superb script in this one. The best
    yet.
