Love it Dennis. :worship::worship:
Hopefully can get a 233 by this year.....:thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:
That would be awesome, will keep my fingers corssed for you
233 for me, just love the watch is a Panerai after all!!
233 is in my list too for this year...I hope so...
Same thing here... I want one before they're changed. Word has it that the linear power reserve indicator will be omitted (moved to the back instead) and receive an AM/PM indicator like the PAM 270.
Not sure if I'd like that change since it would mean two cut-out apartures inside the subdial at 9 plus TWO hands inside the same subdial, too (making the AM/PM hand able to be confused with the seconds hand when seen at a glance). Finally, the two cut-out apartures would substitute the markers that have LUME on the current PAM 233 (= the quarter markers inside the subdial at 9), thus actually providing LESS lume within the seconds subdial since there'd only be lume in the "6" and "9" markers.
Compare with this PAM 270:

The new 2009 233 is with AM/PM indicator too...
Do have have some pics of it? I'd love to see some.
I want to see too!!!
I don't have a pic, but you can look in the new 2009 catalogue, Bo.
Aw, shucks... I don't have the newest PAM catalogue. :banghead:
Hopefully someone who does can take a picture / scan?
2008 PAM233 and 2009 PAM233 are different?
The different only in indicator AM/PM.
With this "upgrade", will it affect the price of the older PAM233?
AND resulting in LESS lume inside the 9 o' clock subdial.
Yes, personally, I think so, but only time will tell.
I for my part will be sure to pick one of the "old" PAM 233's up before they're gone.
So do I...I prefer for the old 233 than new AM/PM indicator one...
For me it's gotta be the 270 & 249
Glad I got my 233 when I did!!!
I can't wait for it to get back home from the spa...
