    Al,
I don't have images of the movements outside of the case, but there are some images of the movements in the case. I will post them in a new thread on Monday when I am at my office computer.
    Enjoy the weekend!

I'm new in TKF and i'm Glad there are a lot of U-Boat fans here and all the feedbacks bout the watch is pretty positive. i read a lot of negative feedbacks regarding U-boat watches in WUS forum. guess that they just can't stand the huge diameter on U-boat and the boldness of the watch.

but the only problem with U-Boat watches is that..... you will never stop at 1!! haha

    Cheers!

Last week I visit U-Boat boutique and lookin for U-42, they have 1pcs in 53mm with the chrono, and 1pcs in 47mm without chrono. In term of looks the 47mm looks more balanced, the strap is 23mm, even for the 53mm one. But finally I ordered from Peter Demetre the 53mm one. I just feel that U-Boat is big, for 47mm I will just go with Panerai. That's what I'm thinkin.
U-Boat has very unique design and size is one of its hallmark.

That's one reason this forum was started. I find that people who are fanatical about certain brands aren't always accepting of new brands, especially when they're so different. It's time for the U-Boat community to have their own place on the 'Net to chat about their passion. And what better place than right here!

Personally, I'd keep leather straps out of the ocean. They're fine for freshwater, though. Just lay them out flat and let dry. Hope that helps.
