    Do you mean the twinlock and triplock codes mate?
    IIRC they started doing this circa '73 or thereabouts. A lot of old Subs and DRSD's have been retrofitted over the years.

    When you send it for a service at the RSC would they put one on without the lock symbol if it required a new one? or would it show the Triplock.

    If it's a Sub/SD they'd usually remove the old crown and whack a triplock crown on it with the 3 dots under the coronet.
