Very cool post Jocke. I've seen a couple like this from you lately. These look like they might come from Rolex repair manuals. Is that the case or if not, can I ask where you find this kind of stuff?

    Great info Jocke!

Its interesting to me that the satin finish on the lugs appears to be diagonal, as opposed to the straight finish on the lugs of the newer GMT's.

Yes, it does look like pages from a binder. Curiosity jumps to the surface again.

    "CHROMALIGHT:Blue luminescent material"

I noticed this was posted on the DSSD information as well. If anyone has a new Sub, have they yet posted regarding the lume's color? It looks as if the lume color has indeed changed to the DSSD's blue during the update. Did Rolex stop using "Superluminova" in favor of their own material, or is this what they are calling it?

It's just blue coloured Super-LumiNova. "ChromaLight" is just another fancy Rolex word just like "CeraChrome", "ParaChrome", "ParaFlex", etc.

Thanks Bo! I was wondering about it, because of Rolex's enthusiasm toward components that are made entirely in-house.

Wow, a new lume color, too!
