To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, Virgil Abloh will continue his partnership with Nike/Jordan Brand into 2020 with an upcoming Off-White x Air Jordan 5 colorway. After turning heads during its debut on the runway in Paris, Virgil Abloh's latest collaboration arrives just in time for a gathering of basketball's elite in Chicago. Inspired by the OG "Metallic" Air Jordan 5, this release features a Black textile mesh upper with Off-White's signature "Shoelaces" branding on the laces along with its text on the inner netting side panel. 3M reflective tongues with a Fire Red Jumpman logo and "23" stitched on the heels atop an aged translucent outsole completes the design. New Air Jordans 2019 will be mixing together UNC and Chicago vibes into one for an upcoming "UNC To Chicago" Air Jordan 1 release. This Air Jordan 1 features Red on the toe area, tongue, and outsole to give off that "Bred" vibe, while Powder Blue is used on the heel and Swooshes. Dressed in a Dark Powder Blue, Gym Red, Black, and White color scheme that nods to Michael Jordan's college days in UNC as well as professional career with the Chicago Bulls. Black tumbled leather overlays atop a White midsole completes the design. Jordans 2019 Cheap will be expanding their Air Jordan Wings lineup with the Air Jordan 10 for 2020. Their Wings collection employs the power of education to help the youth unlock greatness. Each collaborative partner used specific transit line colors to enliven their ideas and reimagine what Jordan Brand's UNITE rallying cry means to them and to the city of Chicago. Other details includes a Silver mudguard, Green inner lining, a Black heel tab with Pink, Orange, Green, and Yellow embroidered dots. A Wings label tag on the lateral atop an icy translucent outsole with a Green Jumpman and Wings branding below completes the design.
