How to Develop the Muscular Abs You Want

    Intensity and tempo are two more Arm Up System vitally important factors. You're intensity should always be high. Too many people take it easy and don't push themselves hard enough or get out of their comfort zone. If this is challenge for you then find a workout partner to help push you. Tell them your goals and let them know not to take it easy on you when spotting you. Those last two reps could be the ones that really make the difference between scrawny or brawny.     The two best tempos for adding size to your chest and to increase bench press strength are slow negatives and performing the exercises as fast as you can with good form. The negative or lowering portion of the bench press workout has proven through numerous studies to tear more muscle fibers than the positive or "pressing" motion of the exercise. Our muscles grow by tearing muscle fibers during a weight workout then allowing them to heal and repair by giving them proper rest and nutrition. The more fibers you can tear the more the muscles grow during the repair process.

    Performing an exercise as fast as possible with good form has the exact same result. It doesn't matter if it's a cable flye, push up, or decline bench press. The amount of muscular force that it takes to perform an exercise as fast as possible while still controlling your form is much greater than any other tempo. This too will tear more muscle fibers allowing your chest muscles to grow much more quickly.

    Add both of these bench press workout secrets into your next pec workout and you'll start to see results fast! You can play around with the number of sets that you do of each exercise but keep your repetitions between 6-10 at all times. Also, as with all body building workouts, don't forget to allow your muscles time to recover. You'll know if you did because with each workout you should be just slightly stronger than the last.
