Probably get this a lot but, if you had to start again, and had the technology/tools you can get now, how would you get into watch repair?

I like to dabble in various things, but don't always have the time.
Seen some good guides and tutorials around, but thought id ask.

Ive had a friend also been asking about what to ask for in the repairer. Think he has bad service by some of the local jewellers around. Any lists of repairers for the UK?
Seen alot of sites pop up like this site and many other watch places found on google.
I've seen the latter one mentioned a few times on other watch repair sites in UK, and looks like several similar in the US.
Obviously if you know the repairer, its going to be more safer, but any occasions when using sites like that are recommended?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions
