There's nothing like receiving a watch first thing in the morning! :rocker:

My Panerai Radiomir Chrono (PAM 288) just arrived via Fed Ex. This is by far the fanciest looking watch I've ever owned, and it's also my first Radiomir, so I'm really excited right now. This is a 45mm watch and I was worried that it would wear too large, but as you can see it looks right at home atop my 7 1/2" wrist! Here's a quick snapshot for you to enjoy.

I don't know too much about Panerai, but what's a Radiomir and what's the difference between the one that T-R just got?
    Thanks

One dumb question. How do you change straps on this model? I've never saw one in the flesh and have been wondering.

There are 4 small screws on the bottom side of the case. Once they are loosened the lug bars can slide out from the case. It takes a few minutes to do, but it's not hard.

I'm no expert, so there's probably alot more than I realize, but the shape of the case is MUCH different. Also, the Radiomir models don't have the oversized crown guard. Radiomir's have a much more traditional winding crown. The Rad doesn't have traditional lugs, but rather "lug wires". Although there are similarities between the Lum and Rad, they're two totally different designs.
